If you're looking for a unique keepsake, a way to preserve memories, or design a personal memorial, consider etched images on granite or marble. This is a truly beautiful and lasting method for creating a keepsake. Your selected photo is etched into black marble or black granite with precision resulting in a highly detailed graphic.
The stone is 1/4" thick except for the Paver. Paver black granite
stones are 2" thick and can be walked on.
OUTDOOR USE:
For outdoor use, we recommend black granite which can withstand extreme climates and does not "wear down". If you wish to attach the black
granite plaque to a surface outdoors such as concrete, use outdoor thin-set cement. If the
granite will be subject to freezing temperatures, it should be mounted on a flat
surface and sealed along the edges to prevent water getting between the mounting
surface and the plaque. If the stone will be walked on, the black granite Paver should be used.
Otherwise, the 1/4" thick black granite will work just fine. It is very
durable and won't crack.
INDOOR USE:
For indoor use, we recommend black marble.
HANGING:
A hanging hook option is also available. This strong metal hook comes attached to the back of the plaque. (We also have marble plaques that can be displayed on an easel or mounted on wood plaques. Please see the Marble Plaque items under "Photo Memorials".)
PHOTO:
Select a photo that has a sharp focus. The photo should be 200 dpi minimum. (If
you need help on that, just give us a call.). Send the photo to us via email.
There is an extra charge for multiple photos on one memorial. If this is for a
soldier who gave her/his life in Iraq or Afghanistan, please call us.
TEXT:
The total amount of text, including spaces, should not exceed 200 characters. A maximum of 200 characters is recommended for the larger plaques. The smaller the plaque, the smaller the lettering.
For text that is longer than 200 characters, there will be an extra charge. You
can enter the text on the order form or include it with the emailed photo. Be
sure to tell us your order number.
The Gallery shows examples of some memorials we have created. However, these
are just a few. If you like, you can indicate a style that you like best, but
we'd like to use our artistic skills to custom design it for you. Upon
completion, we may add your memorial draft to our gallery. Please let us know if you prefer not to have the memorial added.

1. Place an order by completing the fields below. Email the photo and desired
inscription to info@ourcornermarket.com.
2. We will send you a draft of what it will look like.
3. When you approve the draft, we will make your memorial and send you an email
with a tracking number as soon as it ships.
