The artist creates a work of art that contains a small portion of the actual ashes of your loved one. In today's highly mobile society, people can be separated from a loved one's resting place. Our artists create beautiful portable tributes that can always be a part of your life. They are handmade in the USA and signed by the artist. The Solace Ornament is 5.5" long and contains your loved one's ashes. It is created in the color that you choose from our Jewel Tone list. The ornament has a glass hook for hanging on a Christmas tree or all year round as a window ornament. In addition, the Solace Ornament memorial can be personalized with up to 20 characters etched on the heart. Process: Handling a person's ashes is a huge responsibility and we take it very seriously. All of the ashes are handled separately and with great respect. The ashes are hand-sifted and integrated with each piece of glass, creating a permanent work of art. 2. In about 5 business days, you will receive a kit to send us a small portion of the loved one cremains. (The kit will be sent to the shipping address on the order form. If this is a gift, please let the recipient know in advance.) The kit will contain a sterile jar labeled with a unique identifier that matches your Order Number. A small scoop will be included so that you can fill the jar with the ashes. 3. Once we receive your kit, we process your order separately. Only one piece of glass is created at a time and the facility is cleaned thoroughly between orders. 4. After 6-8 weeks, your order will be shipped and any unused ashes will be returned. You will receive an email with a tracking number so that you can watch for it. | ||||||||
