MANUFACTURER GUARANTEE

LIFETIME GUARANTEE for Exterior Products

All exterior products are guaranteed for life, except for inset color photos. This means that should a letter or plaque break or fade, the manufacturer will refinish or replace the defective materials at no cost to the customer, as long as they are installed on their original location. Please note that this guarantee applies to defective material only, as described in our warranty statement.

Any dimensional products used outside will get dirty. Varied dimatic and industrial conditions may impact your letter finish. Therefore, regular basic cleaning is recommended. By using a mild dish soap and water, your letters will better retain their original luster. Painted products can be maintained much like the finnish on your car, as we use a good quality paint that is oven baked to a hardened finish.

INTERIOR PRODUCTS (no lifetime warranty, except for inset color photos)

Interior products do carry restrictions on installation locations as the top coats, substrates and finishes are designed for interior use only. These products do not carry a lifetime warranty if used outdoors. Color insert photos have a lifetime guarantee.

The warranty is in lieu of all warrantees expressed or implied. Seller and Manufacturer disclaims an warranty of merchant-ability or of fitness for a particular purpose and manufacturer/sellers only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of the product proved to be defective. Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of or inability to use the product. Before using, user shall determine the suitability of the products for his or her intended use and user assumes all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.

Should any plaque finish fade or corrode, the bronze plaque manufacturer will refinish it at no charge. Some metal finishes do require regular maintenance to keep their original luster. Painted, satin and polished finishes are clear coated with a hardened polyurethane, similar to your car finish. This can be cleaned with a good dish soap and water. If the face gets scratched, a good car polish will help bring back the original luster.

The manufacturer guarantees all of its products for life.* This means that should a letter or plaque fade, break, or contain any defect, they will refinish or replace the defective materials at no cost to you, as long as the items have been installed on their original location.

There are some qualifiers to the Lifetime warranty.

* The Lifetime warranty does not apply to products installed in the ground or walkway. The plaques should be mounted using one of the methods shown on Mounting page. If it is mounted without one of these methods, the Lifetime warranty does not apply.

* A gliclee (color plaque) has a Lifetime warranty for indoor use. It has a 7 warranty for outdoor use.

* The manufacturer does not cover major damage, such as vandalism, scratches, etc. under the warranty after the original installation.

* Harsh environments: Plaques are clear coated on the front and back to help slow down the oxidation process. All bronze plaques will oxidize over time. Any installation in a harsh environment (ocean/salt air and water exposure) will affect the clear coat, finish and paint on the plaque over time. If/when the finish fails, the manufacturer can refinish and ship it back to you.

MORE INFORMATION
We encourage you to take a walk around your local cemetery or memorial park to see for yourself the natural changes that occur to bronze over the years. You will see recently installed markers and plaques with their paint and letters looking fresh and new while others--that have been at the property for many more months and years--will feature varying degrees of the greenish patina, appearing on the surface only, for which both copper and timeless bronze have been known for thousands of years.

The manufacturer will apply a polyurethane-based protective coating after a marker is cast, finished and ready to ship. However, even this protective coating will gradually wear off over a period of time by the elements (sun, snow, rain) at a pace that's determined by the local climate. This is natural and results in the traditional patina surface tint of aged bronze, a look prized by collectors of ancient bronze art, that actually helps to form a barrier against corrosion in future decades.
